Christmas of 2010

Our Christmas of 2010

It was our first Christmas married, and it was almost the best it could be.

On Christmas eve we enjoyed a dinner, nativity, and family talent show with my in-laws
and my adorable nieces and nephews.
My nieces Ella, Ava, and Kate where adorable little angels with Rachel as their leader angel,
My niece Paige was Mary, and my nephew Zach was Joseph.
Jake was a sheep, Hunter, Lance and Eric where shepherds, and baby Faith kept trying to steel baby Jesus.

After the nativity we had our Tait grandchildren talent show,
where my niece Paige was kind enough to play violin with me.
We also watched this video from the Church.

When we left, Jared and I enjoyed a nice quite evening at our new home.

On Christmas day, Jared and I had a nice Christmas morning at our new apartment.
Jared loved the camera lens, Roku box, Xbox games, and computer ram I got him,
and I absolutely love the new computer and computer accessories he got me.
After we opened our presents and had some lunch, we went to Prescott, to have a Christmas dinner with the only family I had left in the state.
It was so great! We had a delicious turkey, mashed potatoes and gravy, and delicious apple pie.
I am so happy that I had my uncle Mike and his family in Arizona to spend Christmas evening with.
My nephew Jordan was adorable, and I had fun taking pictures of him with our new camera lens.
Then Jared lit some fireworks before we left.
We made a little more noise with those fireworks then we should have ;)

(There is a definite difference between the  previous nativity pictures and of Jordan from Christmas day. I love our new camera lens!)

During Dinner with Mike and Natalie, Mike asked Jared and I what our new resolutions this year where going to be. Although we couldn't think of many at the time, Jared and I left for our 2 hour drive home and thought about it.

This next year is going big for Jared and I. A lot of choices that effect the rest of our lives are going to take place in this next year.  One of Jared's resolutions was to graduate this coming May and then get a job outside the retail world. As many of you know, Jared's dream is to work with Apple, and if that happens we will be living in California before the end of the year.
Although this is exciting, it is a bit scary as well to think we could be
leaving our families here in Arizona.
I realized how hard this would be this Christmas when I had to spend it away from my family.

Whether we stay in the state or not, we will also be looking for a house near the end of the year or beginning of next year. This almost seems surreal, because we will be looking for a home we will finally be in for long term. Another surreal thought, is that as we are looking for a home we will be planning
for our future family.
Hopefully interest rates on homes will stay as low as they are now.

We also plan to get a Doberman when we find a home :) We have decided a gun in our home is not a good idea, so we want to get a doberman that can be a good family dog but also send him to have training in order to protect me and my family on command.

These are exciting changes that I am both a little afraid of and very excited for!
